Our Guarantee & Workmanship Standards

At WD Autobody, we stand firmly behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Restoring a classic, vintage, or custom vehicle is a major investment, and we believe our clients deserve absolute peace of mind at every stage of the build.

1. Our Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee the structural integrity and quality of all in-house metal fabrication, rust repair, bodywork, and paint applications completed by our team. If any defect arises due to faulty workmanship, we will rectify it promptly.

2. Quality Materials & Partners

We use only industry-leading automotive paint systems, rust inhibitors, and panel materials (including PPG paint products). All materials applied are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.

3. Australian Consumer Law Compliance

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

4. Transparent Staged Process

To ensure total satisfaction, every restoration is documented at each key milestone — disassembly, metal fabrication, bare-metal prep, painting, and reassembly. You receive regular progress updates so there are no surprises at final handover.

5. How to Submit a Claim

If you ever have a concern regarding a completed restoration, please contact our workshop directly with your project details. We will arrange an inspection and resolve any valid issue as quickly as possible.
